Explorer Yachts a
FRYCO Specialty
Ed Fry’s background in the design of offshore vessels, US Navy
diver recovery vessels and other sea going commercial vessels
gives
FRYCO a design background backed by experience for the
design of EXPLORER Vessels that are capable of meeting the
demands
of long range ocean cruising. FRYCO has designed
several such vessels in the recent past from 30 to 42 meters
with tank capacities
for long range and equipped for ocean passage and coastal
exploration.
The following photos illustrate a selection of construction
and completed photos of such yachts.

A 40m underway at sea trials making 10k at continuous
cruising speed, underwater exhaust eliminates both noise and
smoke and the vented system make the exhaust as green as
possible.

A 42m at quite anchor in the Turquoise Seas of south Turkey,
like her smaller sister above she has a steel hull and
composite superstructure with a custom interior design and
arrangement to suit the Owner’s taste and requirements.

The FRYCO bow boasts a seaworthy design developed in the model

stability.
